The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has strongly endorsed ‘Operation Sindoor’, the Indian government’s retaliatory strike against Pakistan-sponsored terror infrastructure, following the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed the lives of unarmed Hindu pilgrims.
In an official statement, the RSS praised the Centre and the armed forces for their decisive response: “We congratulate the central government leadership and our armed forces for the decisive action taken against Pak-sponsored terrorists and their supporting ecosystem following the cowardly attack on unarmed tourists at Pahalgam. This action has enhanced the self-respect and morale of the entire country.”
The organization emphasized that military action was both necessary and inevitable to safeguard national security.
“We totally agree that military action being taken against terrorists, their infrastructure and support systems in Pakistan is necessary and inevitable for the security of the country. In this hour of national crisis, the entire country stands with the government and armed forces in spirit and action,” the statement read.
The RSS also condemned the Pakistani military’s shelling of religious sites and civilian areas along the border, offering condolences to the families of the victims of these “savage, inhuman attacks.”
Appealing for national unity, the RSS urged citizens to stay vigilant, follow government instructions, and avoid falling prey to anti-national conspiracies: “We all have to be cautious and not let any conspiracy of anti-national forces succeed in disrupting social unity and harmony.”
The statement concluded with a call to action: “All citizens are requested to display their patriotism, cooperate with the army and civic administration, and strengthen all efforts to maintain national unity and security.”
The RSS’s strong public backing signals a broader national consolidation behind the government’s counter-terror strategy and ongoing military operations.
